The Kenai Peninsula Borough is recruiting for a Human Resources Specialist


Under the general direction and supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Specialist is a journey-level HR position performing work in the areas of compensation, benefits, retirement, and reporting, among others. The role includes responsibility for benefit plan administration, escalated claims analysis, as well as organizational compliance and reporting in accordance with federal, state and local labor laws. As assigned by the Director, this position advises management, employees and the public with complex and/or confidential concerns related to these programs. Successful candidates will have 3+ years of HR experience including benefits administration. HR experience supporting a public employer is preferred. This is a full time confidential position; salary $29.75/hr. + benefits.
