Job Details

Juneau Youth Services is a comprehensive behavioral health provider for children and youth, and their families. We began operations in 1961 and currently provide a full array of emergency, residential, and community-based programs, including both mental health and chemical dependency services.

We are seeking a full time and part time clinician to provide assessments and treatment to youth in one or more of the following areas: emergency and transition services, chemical dependency and school-based services.

The positions ensure that services in the client treatment plan are implemented in accordance with best practices and in compliance with documentation requirements. The positions coordinate with multiple staff as well as external agencies. Candidates must demonstrate awareness and application of: developmental theory, family dynamics, mental illness/ substance abuse, and behavioral principles.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or closely related field. Preference will be given to licensed and license-eligible candidates.
